Whitegoods Help – Find an Engineer is a directory and comparison service that helps consumers find independent appliance repair businesses. Engineers listed on this site are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or subcontractors.
2. Bookings and contracts
Any repair booking you make is a contract directly between you and the engineer you choose. We are not a party to that contract and are not responsible for the work carried out, its pricing, or any dispute arising from it.
3. Verification badges
Verification badges reflect checks we performed at the time shown. They are not a guarantee of ongoing accreditation, insurance or quality. You should satisfy yourself before instructing any engineer.
4. Reviews
Reviews are submitted by customers and moderated before publication. Clearly labelled demonstration reviews may appear while the marketplace is being populated. We may edit or remove content that breaches our review policy; original submissions are retained.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape listings at scale, or submit false applications or reviews.
6. Liability
The website is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on listing information or from work carried out by listed engineers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
