“Found this company by doing a google search as needed someone to come & look at my washing machine which had been making a very loud noise on its last spin. Spoke to a very pleasant lady called Helen who explained the cost involved and what that covered exactly. I booked an appointment and the chap was out later in the day. Within the hour the washer had been taken out, stripped down, “stray” sock removed, all put back together and working. A great find and I would highly recommend using this company.”

AI chat that won’t help, website wanting more payment, AI voice agents with everything excuses. Telephone lines turned off. Emails ignored. Promised deadlines missed. Truly one of the worse companies, hiding behind slick branding and modern technology. Don’t make the call to them, you will regret it!”

“Booked an engineer to repair my washing machine and he established that the drum needs replacing I later received an email stating that as it’s a very costly repair it is beyond economical repair. My gripe is that I paid £102 that is supposed to include repairs with no additional charges with the exception of parts. The engineer analysed the problem but didn’t carry out any repairs this is false advertising and I have basically paid a £102 call out charge.”

He was very professional and gave our refrigerator a good check (he was there about 45mins) and found only a minor problem. Even though the issue was not as bad as we thought, it was worth the cost. “First impressions of NAC repair is very positive. I spoke to Sarah who was very helpful and took details of the issues I was encountering with my washing machine. She explained that this would be passed on to an engineer who would be in touch by 6pm the day before my visit (I called Monday afternoon and the engineer is coming on Wednesday (not urgent)). She then went into explain the initial call out charge and what that covered. Happy with this I paid this and am now waiting on the engineer. The call was immediately followed up by a message to confirm what was going to happen. Excellent customer service so far and a pleasure to deal with this company.”

Extremely disappointing experience with…

“Extremely disappointing experience with NAC Services. I would not recommend them at all. Our repair has been dragging on for over a month with no resolution. On the first visit, the engineer checked our tumble dryer and it happened to work briefly after my husband had already cleaned the lint build-up inside it. We were simply told that cleaning the lint was all that needed to be done, even though we had already done this ourselves before the visit. Unfortunately, the dryer stopped working again shortly afterwards. We called them back, and on the second visit we were told that a part was broken. The engineer ordered the replacement, and we were charged for it. When the replacement part arrived, we were then informed that it didn’t fit our machine. Instead of acknowledging that the wrong part had been ordered, we received an email stating that it was supposedly the correct part and questioning why the manufacturer had made a part that didn’t fit, despite it being for the correct model. This made no sense and did nothing to resolve the issue. A month now later, the repair is still unresolved. We have repeatedly been promised updates, but no one follows up. Every time we call or email, we’re simply told that someone will get back to us, yet no one ever does. The lack of communication, accountability, and timely service has been incredibly frustrating. Overall, a very poor experience that has wasted our time and money. I would not recommend NAC Services.i’m”

“Review for NAC Called NAC to ask they could fix my fridge. The call out charge was high at £102 but I was prepared to pay this get my fridge fixed. The bloke came out to say I needed a new thermostat and that he'd have to come back after one was sourced. Fair enough. However NAC emailed me to say I'd have to source one, with the mention that I'd be charged an extra call out fee if I got the wrong part. I thought this was a bit irregular as I'm not an expert on fridge parts, hence why I called The NAC in the first place and paid the price expecting them to deal with that. However I managed to find the thermostat connected to my fridge serial number via the Internet and ordered the part. An extra £24 paid. The bloke came back to say the I'd got the wrong part. Admittedly the email sent said I'd have pay the call out charge of the bloke again at £66. Then to add insult to injury i received an email to say that my repair has now been completed. Nearly £200 paid, three days waiting in for the Repair bloke (one day he didn't come) over a period of two weeks and still a broken fridge. I would not recommend this service!”

But £100 upfront for labour with a guarantee of no further labour costs to then get a quote of £175 for two carbon brushes that can be found anywhere online for approximately £12 shows the company has adopted a model of trying to trap their customers into paying extortionate amounts for parts by holding the upfront labour costs. Basically ive paid £100 to have the piss taken out of me. Lovely”

“I have a Hisense RF750N4ISF American-style fridge freezer and the fridge part wasn't reaching the required temperature. I called on 3rd August and the woman I spoke to on the phone, who was very polite, arranged for the engineer to call in the next morning. Jonathan, the engineer, was very polite and respectful of the property. I was impressed with his troubleshooting skills which pinpointed the problem. This was fixed and was a lot cheaper than buying a new fridge/freezer. I would recommend NAC.”

My elderly parent paid 160.00 .. When I contacted NAC direct all I got was a load of AI generated responses saying that they are not responsible and afar as they were concerned not their problem ..I will never use this company again especially given the fact they along with the fitter connned/extracted money from a pensioner who paid in advance on good faith - We needed up having to find another company so my parent ended up paying twice - Disgraceful behaviour!!!!!!!!!!!! Update - 10th Aug Nac has responded to the above saying if I had given the booking ref on the review they would look into this - what is the point in doing that now - you were not prepared to help me obtain the refund back then when i contacted them on various occasions - now that this is on here for people to see they are now wanting to help - joke!!!”

The booking process online and via WhatsApp was straight forward and worked well however, specifying a time slot was not possible. However, NAC communicated well and let me know prior to the engineer arriving. The fault was found, parts ordered and promptly fitted within a week. Impressed with the professional service. I was uodated on the Engineer Appointment the whole time. He arrived at the time advised. Very pleasant and professional man. Couldn't fix it there and then as it was the thermostat but ordered part. So another appointment was made when the part was available and same Engineer came. All successfully sorted and a lot cheaper than a new SMEG. You do pay up front but that was clearly explained. Will definitely use the company again should the need arise”

They prey on vulnerable and disabled consumers, taking advantage of them through deceptive practices and fraudulent billing. An engineer attended to repair a Bosch washing machine for an elderly, disabled person on July 9, 2026. The engineer falsely claimed the repair was complete, collected a £102.24 service charge, and left—only for the machine to remain completely broken and unusable. When the issue was reported, the company refused to acknowledge their failure, hiding behind predatory terms and conditions to frame a failed, fraudulent visit as a "diagnostic service." Instead of taking accountability, Managing Director Adrian Welke sent dismissive, unprofessional correspondence attempting to justify charging over £100 for zero results while completely ignoring valid concerns regarding disability discrimination and consumer rights violations. They forced an vulnerable consumer into immense distress, leading to a complete loss of trust and forcing us to purchase a brand-new appliance elsewhere. Avoid this company at all costs if you expect honesty, professional integrity, or basic respect for consumer laws. NAC is completely untrustworthy. Fraudulent "Completion" & Theft (£102.24): Your engineer attended on July 9, 2026, explicitly stated that the repair was "completed," and collected £102.24. Minutes after he left, the machine was proven to remain completely broken and unusable. Claiming money for a non-existent, unperformed repair is obtaining money by deception.  2. Deceptive Fee Reclassification: When a refund was demanded, you arbitrarily and retroactively reclassified this payment as a "non-refundable diagnostic fee" to dodge consumer protection laws—something that was never agreed upon as a standalone fee at the time of booking. 3. Disability Discrimination: You completely ignored pre-arranged accessibility requirements and reasonable adjustments for vulnerable, visually impaired, and autistic consumers, in direct violation of the Equality Act 2010.  4. Escalation: Hiding behind "terms and conditions" does not exempt you from UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015). This case is already officially escalated to Trading Standards (Consumer Advice Scotland) and the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) under reference #260722-000098, alongside a formal chargeback dispute via PayPal. Stop deflecting and issue an immediate, full refund of £102.24.”

“It was late when I rang them to say I couldn't open the washing machine door but they still managed to come out the very next day. The engineer was obviously very experienced and got it open very quickly. The handle mechanism was broken but he had the right part on his van and the whole procedure took less than 30 minutes. There was no waiting for a part to be ordered and then delivered etc which to be honest was what I expected. I was also impressed that although his phone was ringing he ignored it and got on with the job. I was emailed to say what time he would arrive and that was exactly when he came. All in all I was very impressed with the service.”
