4 weeks, £120 down and no repair

“Engineer came out for an over door fault, very quick response, I was charged £120 on the initial visit and he said he'd order the part and be back 'next week'. At that point I was very happy, if I'd gotten what I was told I would have been satisfied. It's now four weeks later and I've heard nothing. NAC clearly subcontract out this work, so although I've called NAC and the person answering the phone is apologetic and said they'd pass a message to the engineer, nothing happens after that. I'm down £120, my oven still doesn't work and I've no idea what's happening. Deplorable service. It's an easy job, just replacing a micro switch that senses when the door is shut, if there's a genuine reason for the delay I feel I should have been informed.”
