I had a very old (18 years) gas cooker…
“I had a very old (18 years) gas cooker on which the door seals had perished. The engineer came to assess the problem and was sure it could be repaired. He obtained the parts and fitted them. He was very polite punctual and went above and beyond to resolve a problem arising from the repair.”

Failed to repair hob and warming drawer
“Failed to repair an induction hob and warming drawer, leaving a very large bill for time and parts. Hob completely broken, having started with just 1 dead zone. We had to buy a new hob for £1000 having also paid nearly that much for failed repairs. Warming drawer still broken after fitting a part costing £215 and no refund. Awaiting resolution and if that's positive I will update my review. Update 1 May 2026 - no response to complaints from NAC and the engineer now sending letters threatening counterclaims for his reduced workload and refusing any refund or resonsibility for failed repairs. We are left with a bill for £994 for parts that have failed to fix the repairs and he appears to have given up on trying to sucessfully repair these.”
